Pastimes

Pastime is defined as an activity that a person does on a regular basis for enjoyment and to get away from work. It is usually taken as a way to relax and the time spent is termed as leisure time. It is also a form of diversion that occupies the thoughts of a person temporarily in a pleasant manner.

It can be games, browsing, recreation activities or any other activity that aims to make time pass agreeable. Human mind is made to be curious; it is not capable of doing a single task for an entire week or an entire day. A past time helps in compelling the curiosity of the human mind and thrusts away boringness by adding a sense of excitement.

Past times also impart a sense of achievement in a person, giving him or her reason to get back to one past time again, converting it into a hobby.
